Shissias Design + Development offers residential and commercial architectural and landscape design services tailored to individuals and organizations looking for an architect who takes a hands-on and collaborative approach to the design and construction process.

SD+D was initiated in 2017 by Al Shissias to address the need for a higher level of service and responsiveness that today's homeowners, contractors and real estate professionals have come to expect.

With over 18 years of experience in design and construction, Al is a New Jersey licensed Architect and Landscape Architect, receiving his Bachelors of Science in Environmental Planning and Landscape Architecture from Rutgers in 2006 followed by a Masters in Architecture from NJIT in 2009. In 2017, Al completed his Real Estate MBA at Monmouth University which he pursued in order to gain a better understanding of real estate and development.

Growing up in Monmouth County and the Jersey Shore made it easy to gain an appreciation for architecture and the landscape. He considers it an honor to contribute to the design and development of this beautiful and unique area in which we live.
